MedUSA Healthcare Services announced the addition of Medical Rehabilitation Associates, Inc (MRA) to its growing list of Clients. MedUSA provides end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services for MRA. Billing services commenced late in 2016.

MRA’s clearance rate has increased substantially since the change in billing service. Additionally, MedUSA has taken over the collection of the practice’s old AR, and started collecting it as well. “We expect to clear over 99% of allowable charges for this client as well, by the time we hit the 6-month mark” according to Donna Pfundstein, Director of Operations. “We were able to recommend changes in MRA’s process and workflow that had a significant impact on their first pass collection rate. We also resolved numerous credentialing issues with multiple carriers as part of the on-boarding process.”
